Fall weather, skirt weather.

Apparently Texas hasn't gotten the note that it is Fall already. It is still pretty hot, hot enough that I was able to wear a skirt.
Let me know what the weather is like where you live?
Thanks for reading my blog:)

Celebrity Inspired:Jessica Alba

Happy Wednesday! For today's outfit I wanted to recreate an outfit I recently saw Jessica Alba wearing (scroll to the bottom to see the pic). As always, I tweeked a few things here and there. I really like a neutral outfit, I do not think it can go wrong. If you have any pics of outfits you'd want me to recreate let me know. :) Thanks for looking.

This is the picture of the outfit I was inspired by, what do you think?

Layering Stripes!

Hope your Thursday was awesome! For today's outfit I layered this striped top over a fav blue dress. It changes up the look in an instant. To add some pop and colorblock effect, I added this neon necklace.
Thank you for your comments! :)

Fourth of July: 3 Looks

Happy Wednesday everyone! Since the 4th of July is exactly a week away, I decided to do something different as far as my outfits. Today I show you three outfits which incorporate red, white, and blue. The white shorts are the base of the outfit, so adding blue and red must be accessories and such. Do you know what you will be wearing?
If you wear anything similar to my outfits let me know! :)

Everyone should have a chambray shirt in their closet. I paired it with some fun wedges and added red on my lips!

This outfit is a little more "dressy." Pair a flirty top (in this case peplum) and add some heels, finish off with red lips!

Another item that is sure to be in your wardrobe already is a striped top. Since neon is all the rage right now, I added these comfortable sandals. My scarf has all the colors needed to look patriotic, without wearing a flag.

Now you are ready for 4th of July, which is your favorite look?

The traveling jeans

I don't have a cool story about these jeans traveling from friend to friend, they have simply traveled from a pile of "donate" to "keep." I guess I have a love/hate relationship with them! Well this is quite a simple outfit that anyone could recreate with staple items in their wardrobe. Everyone should have a striped top, jeans, nude(in this case cognac) heels, and some kind of animal print accesory! Hope you like this outfit, thank you for visiting my blog! :)

Leather skirts, striped tops

When I first got this top I wasn't sure how I was going to wear it. Today I pulled it out of my closet and knew exactly what else to pair it with, leather! It seems like you can never go wrong with leather, I really like this skirt (btw: it's faux). Hope you all have an amazing weekend:)

Lauren Conrad Casual Inspired Outfit

Here is another celebrity inspired outfit! I was browsing the internet and stumbled upon this picture of Lauren Conrad wearing red/coral jeans and a striped top. It is necessary to have a striped top in your wardrobe, and color jeans are everywhere right now! Lauren wore this outfit with flip flops, I kept it casual with flats!
Well I have worn these jeans sooo many times already and in diff ways (look here, here, here, here, and here) I am trying not to shop for a while, but I still want other colored jeans!
Hope you like this outfit :)

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Inspired

Hey dolls, this is the last Wednesday of 2011, so I needed to post an outfit. I saw this picture of supermodel Rosie Huntington and I liked that it paired stripes with leopard (which I've worn before). She paired it very casually with a pair of jeans and booties. I decided to use some similar things in my closet, including my handbag which looks like the Celine. Hope you all enjoyed your Holidays, are you ready for the new year?
