Gone, but never forgotten!

Hello everyone! What was your Memorial Day weekend like?  Hopefully you are resting this Monday morning, but please take some time to reflect upon the reason that is(if you live in the US).  I love my country and I am grateful for those who have fought for our freedom (living and past). 

As you can tell, I wanted to display my flag proudly-on my tank. I decided to wear my espadrilles that I  bought about a month ago but hadn't worn! They are super comfy and I love that they look nautical.

The birthday dress.

Hey everyone!

Today is January 9, my birthday!

We went out for lunch and to take some pics. 

I love being able to "recycle" my clothing. I wore this to another birthday party, therefore it has become my birthday dress. I wanted to wear a dress today, even though it had been raining all morning.

When I pulled this blouse off my clothing rack, a wave of nostalgia swept over me. It reminds me of my trip to NYC and how fabulous it was. 

Anyways, I had never worn it for some reason or another. Well, I chose to wear it with these polka dot pants because of the blue on blue tones.

When in Austin...

Hey everyone, Happy Monday!

Today's post shows you a glimpse of what I did on Saturday. It's always a fun time when you're in Austin, but this time I had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful Merritt  (The Style Scribe). The event took place at the J.Crew store, so it didn't take much convincing for me to go. Merritt even styled a window display (swooning over the pink coat).
